Overview
The fire safety course covers fire prevention, raising the alarm, escape behaviour and the limits of fighting an incipient fire. In the practical extinguisher training, employees practise the safe use of suitable firefighting equipment without endangering themselves.
Adaptation and scope
The course is adapted to your operational fire hazards, alarm routes, escape routes and assembly points. It is a general fire safety instruction with practice. Formal fire-safety assistant training must be commissioned expressly and must additionally meet the requirements of ASR A2.2 (German technical rules for workplaces) and DGUV Information 205-023 (DGUV = the German Social Accident Insurance institutions and their regulations).
Practice-oriented fire safety instruction for employees
How do you respond in the event of fire? Which extinguisher is suitable and how is it used safely?
In this course you learn to recognise fire hazards early, to raise the alarm correctly in an emergency and to leave the building via the designated escape routes. In the practical extinguisher training you practise the safe use of firefighting equipment to fight an incipient fire without endangering yourself.
Who should attend, requirements and outcome
Employees who are to be instructed in operational fire safety and to practise the use of extinguishers.
No particular prior knowledge is required. Operational alarm routes, assembly points and particular fire hazards should be provided in advance so that the course can be adapted.
After the course you receive an ADLER Academy instruction record.
This course is a general fire safety instruction. Fire-safety assistant training under ASR A2.2 and DGUV Information 205-023 must be commissioned expressly as such and delivered with the intended training content.
