Support Services — ongoing technical services

Support Services are recurring or ongoing technical services for an agreed need. They can span several projects, sites, measures or locations.

Overview

Support Services create a reliable framework for technical tasks that arise regularly. Examples are recurring estimating, QA/QC and documentation tasks, project and construction coordination, measurement, progress tracking or welding-related support. The scope of services, spatial reference, collaboration and duration are agreed, without setting up every single recurring activity entirely from scratch.

Not limited to one location

Support Services are not limited to a single location. The agreed need can relate to several projects, sites, works or branches. Maintenance, inspection and turnaround measures as well as recurring tendering or variation tasks are also suited to this model.

The commissioned service remains authoritative. ADLER plans and organises its delivery within the agreed framework. New technical areas or self-contained project scopes are delineated separately. This keeps it transparent which tasks are handled on an ongoing basis and which decisions rest with the client or other project participants.

Organising recurring technical tasks reliably

Many technical tasks do not end with a single project. Estimates, quality documents, progress reports or maintenance measures arise repeatedly and often at different locations. ADLER Support Services bundle this need within an agreed scope of services.

The service can relate to one works, several sites or a group of projects. The technical scope of services remains clearly described; individual activities within this framework are aligned without building a new base structure each time.

Typical situations

  • several projects recurrently need the same technical service
  • a company regularly handles tenders and variations
  • QA/QC, documentation or reporting tasks arise over a longer period
  • maintenance measures are spread across different locations
  • welding supervision or technical coordination is needed regularly within an agreed area
