QA/QC management and technical quality assurance

ADLER supports projects with QA/QC management, quality planning, inspection coordination, documentation review and defect and deviation tracking.

Overview

QA/QC connects requirements from the contract, specifications and standards with the actual execution and the associated records. ADLER prepares and maintains quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans, forms and status overviews, supports the agreed inspection workflows and tracks defects, punch items and deviations. Desk-based sub-tasks can be commissioned separately.

Translating quality requirements into verifiable workflows

Quality does not begin at final inspection. Requirements have to be recognised early, inspection points planned and records assigned on an ongoing basis. ADLER builds suitable QA/QC structures for this and keeps findings, status and open points transparent.

The service can support the site or be delivered as a defined task on the basis of existing documents. In this way an ITP, a compliance matrix or punch-list tracking, for example, can be commissioned specifically.

Role and scope boundaries

ADLER does not replace an independent inspection body, certification body or official decision. Whether ADLER carries out an inspection itself, supports it or works only on its documentation is set out for each service.

Scope of services

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between QA and QC?

Quality Assurance focuses on planned processes and requirements. Quality Control concerns the inspection and assessment of the actual execution or records. In projects, the two areas interlock.

Does ADLER prepare Inspection and Test Plans?

Yes. The basis is the supplied specifications, standards, client requirements and existing templates.
