SCC certification advisory begins with the question of which company programme suits the activities and the client’s requirement. SCC and SCCP are aimed at companies providing technical services; SCP is intended for personnel service providers. ADLER CertConsulting reviews the existing SGU (safety, health and environmental protection) organisation, the required personnel records and key figures and supports implementation through to the independent certification audit.
Programme variants and classification
SCC-VAZ 2021 combines requirements for the operational management of safety, health and environmental protection with key figures and proof of qualification. Which variant applies depends, among other things, on the type of company, the activities, the deployment of personnel and the specific client requirement. The classification is therefore checked before the project begins, based on the current rule set and with a view to the intended certification body.
SGU organisation and gap analysis
ADLER CertConsulting records the existing SGU organisation and compares it with the relevant checklist. Areas considered include responsibilities, risk assessments, briefings, qualifications, occupational health provision, incidents, inspections, procurement, subcontractor management and SGU key figures. An action plan is derived from the gaps.
Company certification and personnel qualification
Company certification and personnel qualification are separate procedures. Documents 016, 017 and 018 relate to the training or examination of operational staff and operational managers. These records form part of the operational SCC requirements but are not company certificates. The ADLER Academy offers the corresponding training and examination options; recognised personnel examinations are carried out by the accredited body responsible for the certification of persons.
Existing certificates and personnel records are checked against the current VAZ programme documents and the requirements of the intended client.
