Overview
The abbreviations HSEE, HSE, EHS and EHSS are used differently internationally. In the ADLER brand context, HSEE denotes health, safety, environment and energy. Security or access topics are described separately and become part of the scope of services only where this is agreed.
Security and guarding
Security can cover access, site rules and organisational safeguarding processes. Guarding services are to be distinguished from these both technically and legally, and require the respective necessary evidence where they are provided on a commercial basis.
A shared understanding, not a debate about abbreviations
Whether a tender names HSE, EHS, HSEE or EHSS: for a robust scope of services, the tasks, authorisations, interfaces and evidence must be described specifically. ADLER supports this clarification and aligns the terminology with the project.

Does security automatically belong to HSEE?
No. Security is not part of the ADLER HSEE abbreviation. Whether access, organisational safeguarding or guarding belong to the assignment is defined and examined separately.
